Concert with Ibrahim Maalouf, May 10th 2012 at Cosmopolite Scene (Oslo, Norway)
Best gig I’ve seen in a very long time. Ibrahim Maalouf’s trumpet play really blew my head off. His jazz is some of the craziest piece of music I’ve heard; oriental music with sick electric guitar riffs, moments of deep calm, violin and western concert flute solos and even bagpipes!

I remember sneaking into the elevator, waiting inside it until it began traveling upwards, then discretely using the service stairs which smelled like laundry detergent. When I arrived on the very top floor I discovered it was a gym, I tried my best to slalom between the security cameras and the fitness machines. The panorama was amazing but the train station took my attention; I spent some time looking at all these small commuters waiting for their trains that will take them home after a long day at work.
